Meg Flynn

Meg Flynn is the owner and director of New Directions Counseling & Training. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with special training in child development, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, and a B.A. in Psychology and Theology from the College of St. Benedict in Minnesota. Meg focuses her practice on building and strengthening family relationships. She works with individuals, couples, corporations and whole family groups. Meg works with adolescents in individual and family settings, to guide them in developing a healthy self identity and to use family relationships to support them during their transition into adulthood. Meg uses an experiential approach with clients in the transformation of emotional blocks to wholeness and happiness that affect the quality of their lives and relationships. Meg provides holistic counseling for individuals, couples and families, as well as groups and workshops through New Directions Counseling & Training, Ltd.

Stefanie Okeson
MA, LMFT
Stefanie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who completed her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Adler Graduate School in Richfield, Minnesota. She began her professional work as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the St. Cloud School District and then continued her career with the district working as a Behavior Resource Specialist, A Dean of Students and most recently as a Mental health Advocate in the Elementary school setting.
Stefanie is compassionate, creative and holistic, and is available to work with clients of all ages, from children to adults, as well as as with families.
Stefanie has a particular passion for working with women, young adults, teenagers and children. Stefanie believes in the importance of valuing each individual and child as someone with their own unique strengths, needs, interests and skills. She works with clients on a variety of issues such as: anxiety, depression, body image, bullying, self-esteem, grief, school or college transitions, relationships and parenting.

Geno has been with New Directions Counseling & Training since 1999. He has over 40 years of clinical experience as a marriage and family therapist, working with both individuals and couples, within a systemic/narrative framework. He is an Approved Clincal Supervisor of the MN Board of Marriage & Family Therapy and the MN Board of Health and Therapy. He has been an adjunct faculty at St Cloud State University since 1978. His wife of 37+ years died in 2009. He has three adult daughters and six grandchildren.

Brittany Reinke
MS, LMFT
Brittany is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University. Brittany works with a wide variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image, LGBTQIA+, grief, trauma and family/life transitions. Brittany has a strong interest in working with adult women and couples and believes using a nonjudgmental, compassionate and systemic approach to help each individual find hope, strength and healing within themselves and their relationships is of utmost importance.
Brittany has a passion for working with individuals that have experienced traumatic or distressing events in their lives and uses a trauma-informed approach in treating clients. Brittany is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a therapeutic tool used to treat and heal trauma and other distressing events.
